<h2>What is Railsponsible? &nbsp; &nbsp;</h2><p>Railsponsible is an industry initiative focused on sustainable procurement with the goal of continuously improving sustainability practices throughout the rail industry supply chain. Members believe that sustainability is a key value driver for business and society, and strive for a global rail industry in which all operators and suppliers adopt good ethical, social and environmental business practices. The initiative is open to all rail operators and companies across the rail industry value chain, as well as key industry associations that share the vision, mission and commitments of the initiative.</p>

<h2>Who is part of the initiative? &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</h2><p>In March 2015, procurement leaders from six leading rail industry companies came together to form Railsponsible. <h2>What is the role of H&amp;Z? &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</h2><p>Since April, we have taken over the management office of the initiative to coordinate the activities of the whole initiative. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Together with SUSTAINX, we will help define common goals, initiate various working groups and assist in identifying appropriate green levers. Overall, the goal is to jointly develop sustainability standards in purchasing that can be applied across the industry! &nbsp; We believe that collaboration is the right way to drive sustainability and hope to take a big step towards truly sustainable rail with this partnership.</p>

<h2>Was ist Railsponsible? &nbsp;</h2><p>Railsponsible ist eine Brancheninitiative, die sich auf die nachhaltige Beschaffung konzentriert, mit dem Ziel, die Nachhaltigkeitspraktiken in der gesamten Lieferkette der Bahnindustrie kontinuierlich zu verbessern. Die Mitglieder sind davon überzeugt, dass Nachhaltigkeit ein wichtiger Werttreiber für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft ist, und streben eine globale Bahnindustrie an, in der alle Betreiber und Lieferanten gute ethische, soziale und ökologische Geschäftspraktiken anwenden. Die Initiative steht allen Bahnbetreibern und Unternehmen in der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette der Bahnindustrie sowie den wichtigsten Branchenverbänden offen, die die Vision, den Auftrag und die Verpflichtungen der Initiative teilen.</p>

<h2>Was ist die Rolle von H&amp;Z? &nbsp;&nbsp;</h2><p>Seit April haben wir das Managementbüro der Initiative übernommen, um die Aktivitäten der gesamten Initiative zu koordinieren. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>Gemeinsam mit SUSTAINX werden wir helfen, gemeinsame Ziele zu definieren, verschiedene Arbeitsgruppen zu initiieren und bei der Ermittlung entsprechender grüner Hebel zu unterstützen. Insgesamt geht es um die gemeinsame Entwicklung von Nachhaltigkeitsstandards im Einkauf, die in der gesamten Branche angewendet werden können! &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Wir glauben, dass Zusammenarbeit der richtige Weg ist, um die Nachhaltigkeit voranzutreiben, und hoffen, mit dieser Partnerschaft einen großen Schritt in Richtung eines wirklich nachhaltigen Bahnverkehrs zu machen.</p>
